Not really 3 cups

This is a great little press but only if you think in terms of tiny English-style teacups. If you're a mug drinker like me, this press may hold less than you'd prefer. I'm trying the 8 cup to brew a couple of mug fulls on a lazy Sunday morning.

Everything I'd thought it would be & more. Fantastic for 1 American cup of coffee...and with a lifetime guarantee! Too afraid to put it in the dishwasher yet, so not sure if it can withhold that, but it seems rather sturdy. Love it!

Great product, smaller than expected

This is a great product. It was smaller than I expected, but I think that was my own personal naivity. Good for one person to use once. Would be neat to have a measuring line on it. HAPPY!

Works good, misleading size

The 3-cup french press works just great, although I do end up straining the results because it leaves behind a few small floaties. The only potential problem would be if you were really expecting it to make 3 cups. I fill it to capacity and am only able to get 11 oz of tea, which is just the right amount to fill my semi-large mug. It is a very handy device.
