Guayakí Organic Energy Shots are fueled by yerba mate's naturally uplifting, healthy and nourishing properties. These organic blends of ALL ORGANIC Superfood extracts will give you the energy you need to meet today's stresses and demands.
BevNET Review: The latest flavor to hit the Guayaki Organic Energy Shot lineup is Lime Tangerine. It’s definitely a close sibling to their Lemon variety, having a very similar tasting citrus note and, of course, the same underlying yerba mate flavor. However, there is a more tart citrus flavor, which is presumably the influence of the added lime and tangerine flavors. Like the other Guayaki Organic Energy Shots, this variety is “fueled” with yerba mate, goji berry, acerola cherry, and ginger, which results in a natural dose of caffeine (for energy), antioxidants, and vitamins. On the outside, the product uses a 2 oz. glass bottle (the same one used for vanilla extracts and the like) that’s fully wrapped with a label that bears the trademark Guayaki branding. There’s a “Fair For Life” badge, which is a reference to the fact that this product is “social and fair trade” certified. Also present is the familiar USDA Organic certification emblem, which is certainly something that sets this product apart from most of the products in the shot category. All of these items have been organized nicely, making for a clean look that also has a very earthy vibe. Overall, a very enjoyable product from Guayaki that does a great job of blending solid flavor, energy kick, and nice looking packaging.

I was returning from Beaufort (SC) to Pawleys Island and made a stop at Whole Foods. (One should never pass up an opportunity to go to Whole Foods.) As I was standing in the check-out line, so tired I might not have been standing, and saw this product acros the aisle. Grabbed a bottle. It was organic; what was not to like? Almost couldn;t get the bottle open but, when I did, I immediately thanked the Lord for whatever was in that little bottle!!!
