Glad I took the plunge!

While reordering more Mate Chocolatte in bulk, I saw the roasted mate and decided to try it. I had been addicted to black tea before making the switch to yerba mate, and the roasted mate was described as being similar. Just like the description says, it does have a yummy caramel note. It took a while for me to get used to the roasted mate flavor, since I had been so used to non-roasted mate and roasted tea as two distinct flavors. Roasted mate is delicious, but if you're expecting a taste exactly like black tea, you're in for a bit of a shock. However, I highly recommend this for people who REALLY LOVE mate. It did take some getting used to, but I have had it both hot and iced (and love it both ways), I am drinking it now as I write this, I am happy with it and glad I took the risk (buying 2 bags of something I've never had before, in bulk!).

Roasted Mate tea bags

I enjoy the spicier and earthy taste of the roasted tea. It is perfect on a cold day or after a hard day working outside. The tea bags are convenient. I plan to order more of this, as a percentage of my usual order.
