Mate Chocolatte (1/2 Pound) Bulk Tea Bags

This is the third time i have ordered the bulf quantities of this tea. My Wife drinks it everyday and loves it. Guayaki has always been great at offering discounts and getting my order out promptly.

I was very disappointed with this. I've had another brand of mate that I liked better and had heard good things about Guayaki so was expecting to like it...I usually mix this blend with another brand I like as then I like it better...I bought a huge bag of it! And until I find someone to give it to, I'll drink it rather than toss it. It could be that the flavors aren't as pronounced as I would like (even when using two bags), and I'm not sure it really needs the stevia.

I wanted so badly for this tea to be as wonderful for me, as so many others said it was. But, I was very disappointed! The taste was not bad, I did like it better than any of the green teas I have tried. Aside from that, I really felt nothing after drinking it, no calm, no energy, nothing like was described by prior customers. It was a real bummer, b/c I was really looking forward to becoming a mate enthusiast.

I absolutely love the mate chocolate...It does not compare to any other tea or coffee.

I was searching for a coffee substitute, found this product at my natural foods store, and loved it from the first sip. I had been drinking coffee black since 1970 and adore Indian Malabar, so it takes a robust tea to fill those caffeinated shoes. Mate Chocolatté does just that, and it makes a terrific iced tea as well. I usually drink it straight up; some days I add honey. I am very thankful that you offer the bags in bulk (they go fast!), and am also thankful for your good works. After use, we open and compost the bags.

I love this Matte!! I've tried all the other brands and this is by far the best. It is smooth, with no bitter aftertaste. I like mine good and strong, so I use 2 bags and brew for a full 5 min.(I've even been known to add an extra teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa to the cup) Top it off with a dash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and I'm set for the day! YUM!!

I have tried weaning myself off of caffeine with other types of hot drinks that do not contain it, but that has never worked for very long. I fell in love with yerba mate, I love everything about Guayaki as a company, and I am a chocoholic, so Mate Chocolatte has become my go-to morning drink. It isn't like hot chocolate...it's a little like a chocolatey chai without the spicy bite. I have been drinking it consistently every morning for the past year, and have just started buying it in bulk from the website, since I go through it so quickly, and I like not having the waste of tags, strings, and individual packaging of the tea bags that you get in the store-bought box.

This is my favorite hot drink, with the delicious satisfaction of chocolate in a low-cal drink. Yum! It also tastes great when it cools. I buy in bulk as look forward to two or three cups every morning.
