i <3 the 5pounder yerba mate!

By: Abi of Baltimore, MD

Thank you for providing such high quality yerba mate in bulk quantities. i drink it daily and recommend to everyone. I love the 5lb bag! It lasts me a few months and never degrades in quality. Plus, the compostable bag is a marvel. thank you for being a fair trade organization, it's rare to be able to trust a company. it really does influence our decision to support you.

Premium quality at a bargain price!

By: DJ of Pasadena, CA

I've been drinking mate' for more than 15 years and Guayaki brand yerba mate' is heads and tails above the big commercial brands like Rosamonte, Taragui, CBSe, and Cruz de Malta. Guayaki traditional yerba mate has a rich full bodied flavor that isn't overbearing or burnt tasting like some of the brands mentioned above. Moreover it is grown organically and sustainably, which the commercial brands cannot claim. Although Guayaki costs a bit more than the commercial stuff I used to purchase at a local Argentine market, the price per pound is almost equivalent when purchased in the 5lb. bulk bag (approx. $9 per lb.) and is a steal when used with the 20% promo that is frequently offered. Guayaki is one of the very few brands/products that I even bother to write reviews of and share with friends. This is a great product and company that makes you feel like your making the world a better place!

Better Than Coffee!!!

By: Kyra Robinov of NY, NY

A healthy and invigorating way to start the day. Also a perfect pick-me-up when my energy starts to flag. My favorite is the Tradition Yerba Mate and I love to brew it myself. Though the tea bags come in very handy when I travel. I never leave home without them :)

Great Mate

By: Anonymous of San Luis Obispo/Ca

Great mate, excellent service. If your used to store bought lose leaf mate then this will be less smokey as it is not smoked to dry it, thus removing the step in product creation that puts carcinogens in your mate.

The best straight-up loose leaf mate out there

By: Leif of Seattle, WA

I drink this every morning, and have done so for the past 6 years. I've tried other brands and some of the flavored mate blends, but none compare to this loose leaf mate as a daily staple for reliable, good flavor and steadfast effect.

Never lets me down!

By: Matt of Seattle, WA

In all the years I have drinking mate, Guayaki continues to be the best I've had. When I got into yerba mate, I started off with all the South America brands and had a pretty good idea of what is out there. But a friend turned my head to consider Guayaki and I haven't turned away since. Consistent quality in how the mate is processed — just the right balance in particle size from leaves to very small amount of stem. Flavor never changes and is always enjoyable, so it's one of the few things in life that doesn't let you down!

Mucho Mate

By: Kathy of Phoenix, AZ

I've been drinking mate latte's every morning for years now: three mate shots brewed in our espresso machine mixed with steamed almond milk. I haven't counted, but I'm pretty sure we've been through more than a dozen five pound bags by now!

WE LOVE OUR MATE IN THE MORNING!

By: Courtney Josey of Lakewood, CO

Every morning, I get up and drink a big glass of water….and then we brew our loose-leaf mate in a French press and enjoy it! Great way to start the day! We buy our Yerba Mate loose-leaf 10 pounds at a time. It lasts us for several months and is very cost-effective.
