Each carton has 16 individually wrapped tea bags. Each individually wrapped tea bag is sealed for freshness, preserving the vitality of the herbs.

Our boxes are printed with vegetable inks on 100% recycled paper with at least 50% post-consumer waste.
Hot:
Place tea bag in a cup of hot (not boiling) water. Steep 5-10 minutes. If you want it stronger, brew it longer.
Mate Choco-Latté:
Brew hot, then add your choice of milk and sweetener to taste. We like almond milk and honey.
Iced:
Brew the tea bags, then add ice.

I only purchased a small box because I wasn't sure how the chocolate flavor would mix with the tea. It was wonderfully smooth. I'm buying this one bulk bag next time.

My Favorite Mate Tea

This is my favorite mate tea, which is saying a lot because I love all of the mate teas. It really does have a chocolate-y flavor, a little bit of a sweetness even. Love it.

Saved us from the cold winter at The Snowball Festival

Wonderful!

I am a new tea drinker and found Mate Chocolatte at Krogers while looking for another chocolate tea, which they did not have, so I got this one for the heck of it and I have to say it is quit tasty. I added the York International Delight creamer and I am in heaven. A 34 calorie treat -- yummm. I am going to enjoy this in the mornings on my way to work instead of plain hot chocolate (-:

Leave the bag in your cup...

I was disappointed with the lack of flavor of the tea bags, so I often use two and will leave the bags in my cup until finished. I will continue to look for a bag w/ a stronger coco essence to replace my own "messier" version of Yerba Mate Chocolatte (warmed skim milk, Splenda sweetened Yerba Mate w/ Mixing Coco).
