Each carton has 25 individually wrapped tea bags.

Each tea bag has a tag with string.

Our boxes are printed with vegetable inks on 100% recycled paper with at least 35% post-consumer waste.
Hot
Place tea bag in a cup of hot (not boiling) water. Steep 5-10 minutes. If you want it stronger, brew it longer. Do not drink yerba mate above 150 degrees fahrenheit.
Mate Latté
Brew hot, then add your choice of milk and sweetener to taste. We like almond milk and honey.
Iced
Brew the tea bags, then add ice.

Love it!

At first the tea had a very strong bold taste (I don't add much sweetener), but once I got used to the tasted I loved it! I could actually tell a difference in how I felt. I do not drink coffee or soda so I was a little worried about how I would feel from the caffeine but I was fine. I would definitely recommend this tea to my friends!

Every morning, I enjoy several healthy, rich flavored cups of Yerba Mate. The teabags make it easy to travel and still be sure that I get my Yerba Mate start to making a great day. No other tea is quite the same.

Great alternative to coffee

I'm extremly sensitive to caffine in coffee so I decided to tried this tea with natural caffine (thanks to thepeopleschemist.com)as an alternitive to coffee. It clears my head, makes me focused and alert, and the natural caffine doesn't make me over anxious/nervous as with coffee or caffinated soft drinks. I know there are many health benifits from Yerba Mate also... win/win. :) Thank you for your very helpful website and great products!

wonderful tea

I love this tea . I was a coffee drinker and finally became tired of coffee . I tried three other teas before yerba mate and just didnt get what I wanted . I am so happy that I found yerba mate and have fallen in love with it . I rarely drink coffee now and could not be happier with the tea . I am 70 and this is a big change for me . defintiely will buy it regularly .

Best Hot Drink Ever!

I stopped drinking coffee in 1986, and I went without a hot caffeinated drink in the mornings until 2006, when I discovered traditional yerbe mate tea bags. I love them! And I recommend the drink to everyone I meet.

I love tea. I wanted to find something that was good for you and taste great. I have tried more than a dozen different brands, nothing tasted good but the Yerba Mate! My kids are drinking it and no more making 2 different kinds of tea. Everyone is happy makes a happy mom!
