Traditional Yerba Mate - [5 lb.]

I've tried a variety of mate's over the last 7 years and Guayaki's traditional loose leaf is consistently the best in taste and content (stems/leaf ratio). I've only had a couple of instances with the large 5 lb. bag where the last portion was bitter, or had a taste different from the rest. But I figure this is something I should deal with by keeping the contents mixed well as I go through a bag. I love the taste of the traditional with chocolate, cookies, snacks, granola bars, whatever I snack on through my work day. I love coffee and appreciate the qualities of yerba mate that allow me to enjoy during a full day at work. I couldn't drink coffee through the whole day like that without dire consequences.

As an asthma suffer I get a great deal of relief from drinking Yerba Mate. I start each day with a pot. Delivery was fast. Thanks

I ordered another 5 lb. bag of loose leaf mate last month. Was a touch leary of the new biodegradable bag, just because it was something new. But as soon as the product arrived it was clear the product and bag met the very high Guayaki standards my husband and I have come to expect. The tea is, as always, incredibly fresh and it is a morning staple in our home. We brew it in a French press because we bring our mate to the office. Thank you, again, for a super product.

I've been drinking Mate for several years now thanks to my 2 daughters and sons-in-law. I now make it an effort to "turn on" as many as will listen to me. Every morning our Mate is made with a touch of home grown mint and the day is started off right. THANKS Guayaki!!

I truly love your Mate products and was happy to see the new Biodegradable bag. But... There's no way to reseal the bag as it is currently designed. As it takes me awhile to use the 5 lbs. of mate a resealable bag would be a great addition. Thanks

What can I say, the results speak for themselves. I have been a devoted Guayaki fan for three years now, and have noticed several health benefits (I'm in my early 50s) such as lower LDL cholesterol readings, steady weight/no gain, healthy skin, boundless energy without the "crash", and I drink it hot in winter, cold in summer. The perfect beverage. I'm also a Guayaki ambassador of sorts, as I've turned on quite a few people to this product (it sold itself since those with whom I shared it see how it's helped improve my overall well-being).
