Attention, great tea ahoy!

By: Mike of Tigard

This is the epitome of excellence in yerba mate that you would expect from Guayaki. This is the most economical product that you can buy from this company. If you're a long time drinker like I am then it only makes sense to purchase the traditional tea here in the 5 lb quantity. Pros: Great deal for the money. One of the best deals on this tea there is. -When soaked in hot water for a short period of time these leaves make a beverage that tastes great -By sprinking this tea in a sacred geometric pattern and chanting the name of a video game character, that character will appear to you and guide you to a mastery of their respective game. Great for competetive online play. -One day I was thinking: "Man that was a cool bag I had, until my cat got into it and rolled around in it and stuff. -Gives +4 to intelligence & + 2 to stamina per use for 2 hours. Great for outsmarting and outrunning the cops -Can be used as the carpet in hamster cages. -Liquid resistant packaging. If you accidently set this down in a puddle of dog urine , your investment is protected. -Can be used as an incentive reward for all sorts of odd jobs that you need the local neighborhood kids to do. -Oral administration seems to increase libido in most people. When used strategically this practically pays for itself because hookers are expensive. -Cons: -Drinking this tea out of a gourd in public greatly increases your sucesptibility to unsolicited social interaction from random strangers, as well as suspicious looks from law enforcement officials. -Sometimes I'll use water that's too hot so when I drink it I burn my mouth a little, forcing me to wait intil it cools down to consume it. -Drinking this doesn't grant you the abillity to walk on water, so this isn't the best choice if you're trying to convince the cult you're running that you're the messiah. -Contains no canabinoids or traces of THC, so if I'm out of bud and this tea is all I got guess who's gotta walk over to Jeff's place to buy another bag. Other: -Frequent consumption may lead to wearing all hemp clothing and voting for the green party

We have ordered traditional yerba mate for at least 6 years. It is a wonderful product, Guayaki.com ships super fast and we usually have it within a few days after ordering.

great mate, feel the good energy!

By: peter galvin of shelter cove, ca

I love the Mate and the biodegrabable bag it comes in. I've been drinking this stuff for years, it's a better buzz than coffee doesn't have the same negative effects. Guayaki was the 1st Mate I'd ever tried and it's still the best Mate I've ever tried.

We love our mate!

By: Courtney of Lakewood, CO

We love the new biodegradable packaging. What a great thing to do! Of course, we love making our mate every morning in the French press. We add a drop of oregano oil and a few drops of stevia. YUM! Such a great way to start the day.

Mate makes my morning

By: Chris McClure of Tillamook, Oregon

I've been drinking mate every morning for about nine years, and take my loose leaf with me when I travel or go horse camping. I don't know how it works, but I feel good, have energy, and don't get sick. I drink it with a tiny amount of lemon juice, hot or cold. I love it.

As always, I appreciate your high quality and great tasting mate, the fact that you ship for free when I order the 5 pound loose-leaf bag, that you are using a new bio-degradable bag and that you ship quickly. So, thank you -- THANK YOU! Laura

Great Tea

By: Ken of Rohnert Park, California

I have been drinking this tea for more than 8 years now and I have always enjoyed drinking this tea with some honey and splenda or sugar. I will drink about 2 - 4 pints every morning and it always leaves me with a good, clean feeling all day, wakes me up, and does put me on a crash course from a caffine high as coffee does. This tea is also great as a iced tea during the day; just steep it, let it cool and add some ice cubes with sugar or splenda and a slice of lemon if you want, and you are good to go as great iced tea.

I'm Happy To Review This Great Product

By: DiAnne Bradsher of Livingston, TX

I tried Yerba Mate tea when I couldn't drink coffee anymore because it was too acidic for my system. I liked it right away. In the beginning I bought small boxes at the local health food store. But In 2005 my husband retired and we became fulltime RV travelers. That is when I started to order my Yerba Mate in bulk so that I could have it available no matter where we were in the country. I wouldn't want to run out of my Yerba Mate. Sincerely, DiAnne

review

By: Linda Martini of Martinez, CA

If it wasn't for watching The View from the Bay that day, I wouldn't have found out about this delicious hot drink. Not sure if you call it a tea or what. I have to say it is delicious. I have been a coffee drinker for years..And when I tried it, that was the end of my coffee drinking days. I love it with soy milk and a teaspoon of honey. I totally enjoy it. Thanks, Linda

Best mate I've had

By: Matt of Seattle, WA

I've tried a variety of mate's over the last 7 years and Guayaki's traditional loose leaf is consistently the best in taste and content (stems/leaf ratio). I've only had a couple of instances with the large 5 lb. bag where the last portion was bitter, or had a taste different from the rest. But I figure this is something I should deal with by keeping the contents mixed well as I go through a bag. I love the taste of the traditional with chocolate, cookies, snacks, granola bars, whatever I snack on through my work day. I love coffee and appreciate the qualities of yerba mate that allow me to enjoy during a full day at work. I couldn't drink coffee through the whole day like that without dire consequences.
