I first discovered this product in a health food store in San Marcus, CA in 2001. A represenative for Guayake dave out samples of the brewed drink. I discovered one tablespoon per large cup could make a major difference in my energy and mental clarity. This great taste cannot be found in any other Yerba Mate producers packaging. I have been drinking Guayaki Yerba Mate for about 10 years. It has become a staple in my life and something I can't do without. Thanks for the great product. This was my first time to personally order it. My son and daughter-in-law have kept me stocked up for the past year. Now they live in Mexico so I'm on my own. Mate tea has made a difference in my morning habit. I have stopped drinking coffee and replaced it with Mate all day long. Can one drink to much? I say nay. I've been drinking mate every morning for about nine years, and take my loose leaf with me when I travel or go horse camping. I don't know how it works, but I feel good, have energy, and don't get sick. I drink it with a tiny amount of lemon juice, hot or cold. I love it.
